Ayyyyy was wondering when they would finally announce it

Don't get me wrong, I really like Wheel but after the first playthrough I just wish they could decide which band's sound the wanna copy, Tool or Soen, and stick with it.

It’s okay. Quite a step down from Resident Human imo. It’s somewhere in the middle of the vast array of Tool worship albums.

On first listen I do like it a decent amount, albeit not as much as the last one (can see myself warming to it with repeat listens); I can kinda see Nejde's point above, but I think aping more than one band is helping them to grow their own identity a little more considering just how derivative the debut was. Still, I do find it a bit weird when I see (in other places, haven't really seen it here) that Wheel's stuff is 'Tool but better'; I guess the writing is a bit more convoluted for the progheads and they have a heavier side, but as passionate as the vocals in particular are, in term of emotion and memorability (and particularly for this new album), I don't think they're in the same postcode as Tool at their best.
